Here is a little tutorial / pattern on how to make those cool pointed sleeves seen in the Japanese Lolita style (comprising among others "Gothic Lolita", which most people know).

I'm extremely terrible at math. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't keep up. I was lucky to have an IEP throughout school. I had one from 2nd grade and on. If it wasn't for that, I would have flunked out of school in elementary school and I only passed because of the pass/fail... I passed for effort. But you explain this so well, I actually understood the math that you were explaining. Of course, the visual was a BIG help.
